Pavilions Celebrates Summer with Free Family Fun and Community Back-to-School Campaign
Pavilions Shopping Centre is inviting families to make the most of the summer holidays with a series of free children’s activities, alongside the launch of a community initiative to help local families prepare for the new school year.
The Pavilions Celebrates Summer’26 campaign will see the centre host three free family-friendly events throughout the school holidays, giving visitors another reason to enjoy a day out while ticking off their back-to-school shopping.
Taking place in the heart of the shopping centre, the activities include:
* Wednesday 29th July – Free Balloon Modelling
* Wednesday 5th August – Free Glitter Tattoos
* Wednesday 19th August – Free Face Painting
Each event is completely free to attend, with activities available while supplies and capacity last. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to avoid queues. Each event will be taking place between 10 am and 3pm.
As families prepare for the new school year , Pavilions is also encouraging shoppers to support its new Back to School Together campaign – a community initiative designed to help local families in need.
The campaign invites visitors to donate good quality back-to-school essentials, which will then be distributed to local charities, community groups and food banks across the area ahead of September.
Donations can include:
- School uniform
- PE kits
- Backpacks
- School shoes
- Pencil cases and stationery
- Other back-to-school essentials in good condition
