Let’s Celebrate all Dads!

We understand that days like Father’s Day can be difficult for many, and this year even more so. Our sympathies are with anyone who has lost a loved one at any time.

So, come Sunday 21st June 2020 we would like to encourage a bit of a celebration of all Dads, whether they are here or have sadly passed on.

Take a trip down memory lane

With a little bit more lockdown time on our hands, perhaps a trip down memory lane would be a nice idea? How about digging out some old family photos to reminisce over zoom, or to show your kids some of their distant relations?  And if you spot a classic photo why not turn it into a Father’s Day gift, mounted in a frame or as a printed keepsake?

For photo gift ideas why not head to The Works or WHSmith to re-create that special family album.

Treasured Gifts

If you’re after something that little bit special this Father’s Day then how about treating Dad or Grandad to a piece of jewellery to remember how much you treasure them?  Warren James offers some fine pieces online as does F.Hinds, so if you’re looking for something extra special, perhaps a pair of cufflinks, an engraved piece of jewellery, or even a watch – they won’t forget what you mean to them anytime soon.

Fragrant Father’s Day

Why not treat Dad to his favourite aftershave, with 20% off from The Fragrance Shop or Boots you’ll come up smelling of roses!

Make sure he puts his feet up

Most importantly, if Sunday is usually set aside for Dad chores, then make sure he puts his feet up with a cuppa as he sits and admires his Fathers’ Day pressies. Sainsbury’s and Argos both have some great Father’s Day gift ranges, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Make your own card

We’ve put together 6 designs for you to choose from, print at home and colour in for Dad.
