Situated in the very heart of North London, Pavilions Shopping Centre is a centre point for residents and a useful destination for tourists passing through. • The engagement with tenants achieved over many years continues to produce results in reduced waste statistics. Waste is segregated at the backdoor enabling savings to be made.
• For any shop refits Pavilions have a pre-meeting and use a Shop Refit Guide to provide guidance on how to reduce and manage waste, particularly hazardous waste, effectively.
• Energy consumption is reduced through numerous mechanisms
• Lighting in the Mall and car park uses photo sensors resulting in big energy savings.
• Lighting fittings are being swapped to lower energy LED fitings through an installation programme.
• ZeroTrace utility monitoring system installed last year has data recording capability to help pinpoint inefficiencies.
• Printers and computer equipment make use of Compwise energy saving technology.
• Pavilions purchases local contractors, uses recycled paper and reduces its raw material consumption by using e-invoicing.

Pavilions Shopping Centre is thrilled to announce that our efforts to ensure safety when parking within our car park have been recognised with this annual award. The initiative is run in association with chief police officers and managed by the British parking association. It highlights our quality facility management, effective surveillance, appropriate lighting and cleanliness of the environment to give our shoppers full confidence when visiting the centre, and that means everything to us.

As active members of the community, Pavilions Shopping Centre knows the value in maintaining the strong links we’ve built with the local police force. We’re proud of our close relationships with the local officers and PCSO’s, all of whom regularly patrol in and around the centre to liaise with our internal security team. Ensuring that both the Centre and the High Street are kept safe this is maintaining the spirit of both locals and visitors to Waltham Cross, and we always value shoppers informing us of anything they view as suspicious.
